Additional Information

Dr. Andre Watson is a clinical psychologist who holds a Master’s and a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from widener University. He specializes in psychotherapy for individuals, families, and the disabled. Over the past 20 years, he has been a student of various martial arts, an accomplished goalball player, represented the United States in Paralympic Judo in 2008, and is the president and founder of the AudioDart Club of the Delaware Valley. He is married to his lovely life Katina and is the proud father of his 11-year-old daughter Kenya. Andre values learning, adventure, and creativity in everything that he does and desires to encourage, empower, and motivate those who are different, disabled, or those who might be down because of life’s struggles. He has been blind since the age of 9, and every since then has been passionate about blindness skills, independence, and motivating the blind and visually impaired to be all that they can be. He has given talks and speeches on martial arts for the blind, independence of the blind, and blindness awareness. The key theme that he always speaks about is that true sight does not depend on physical eye sight, but it depends on a clear mind, passionate heart, and divine purpose. As an expert witness, Dr. Watson can speak and write with authority about adjustment, trauma, living with a disability, and blindness related issues. He has experience with evaluating those who have been blinded. Evaluations are comprehensive in discussing the life changing factors surrounding new blindness and what adults or children will psychologically need to continue on with their new lives.
