Dr. Marante is a highly experienced Pediatric Intensivist/Hospitalist with over 30 years of experience. During his career has been responsible for oversight and management of patients at various hospitals totaling 38 pediatric ICU and over 100 general pediatric beds. He has coordinated patient care across multiple pediatric subspecialties and environments, including a pediatric sedation clinic, pediatric cancer program, pediatric trauma units, pediatric burn care, pediatric rehabilitation and complex chronic pediatric care among others. In addition for most of his career, Dr. Marante has actively participated in medical education. He has served as teaching faculty for Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatrics. He has been responsible for teaching pediatric residents and medical students. He has also served as Assistant and then as Program Director for a Pediatric Residency program. Dr. Marante has multiple medical school academic appointments. Dr. Marante is currently the Chief of Pediatrics at Moses Taylor Hospital and Director of Pediatric Public Health Programs/Chief of Pediatric Hospital Services, Dr. Marante also serves as Sponsoring Institution Pediatric Associate Program Director, Site Director FM Residency and Pediatric Physician Faculty in Scranton, Pennsylvania. As such he continues to provide medical education to the residents and medical students associated with this institution. During his career, Dr. Marante has testified in court on multiple occasions, he has also been deposed on multiple occasions on a variety of pediatric cases. These involved medical and traumatic conditions.
