Dr. Marante is a highly experienced Pediatric Intensivist/Hospitalist with over 33 years of experience. During his career has been responsible for oversight and management of patients at various hospitals totaling 38 pediatric ICU and over 100 general pediatric beds. He has coordinated patient care across multiple pediatric subspecialties and environments, including a pediatric sedation clinic, pediatric cancer program, pediatric trauma units, pediatric burn care, pediatric rehabilitation and complex chronic pediatric care among others. In addition for most of his career, Dr Marante has actively participated in medical education. He has served as teaching faculty for family practice, emergency medicine, pediatrics residents and also medical students. He has also served as Assistant and then as Program Director for a Pediatric Residency program. Dr. Marante has multiple medical school academic appointments. Dr. Marante is currently the Chief of Pediatrics at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, Pennsylvania and is working there as a Pediatric Hospitalist. Dr. Marante also serves as faculty to The Wright Center for Community Health and The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education in Scranton, Pennsylvania. As such he continues to provide medical education to the residents and medical students associated with this institution.
