My first trial was as a material witness during residency in 1991. Attempted murder of a patient whom I treated. I was told by the prosecuting attorney that I did a great job. I have been reviewing cases and testifying as an ER expert since 1995. I am residency trained and board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. My focus is on general community emergency medicine. I have had teaching appointments as community faculty at 3 major universities. I have covered emergency departments ranging from 9,000 visits per year to almost 70,000 visits per year as well as Fayetteville Veterans Affairs which is a certified Geriatric ED. I have reviewed cases and testified for plaintiff, defense, product liability, corporate liability, criminal and for the North Carolina medical board. I am fair, honest, hard working, and articulate and show great attention to detail. I have reviewed and/or testified in Florida, Washington DC, Indiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Tennessee and for the North Carolina Medical Board. I work full time clinically. Firms who have used my services have continued to do so for up to 27 years. I have zero reprimands, board actions, data bank issues etc. No malpractice history.
