Dr. Pisula is an emergency medicine physician with over 18,000 hours of clinical practice. During that time, he has evaluated over 35,000 patients in the Emergency Department setting. Dr. Pisula is experienced as an expert witness: o Provided reviews in 50+ cases since 2022 o Worked with both plaintiff and defense o Provided testimony at deposition and trial Dr. Pisula is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. He is experienced in multiple practice settings including level-one trauma centers, academic institutions, and low-resource facilities without broad specialty support. Dr. Pisula is an associate professor of emergency medicine at Mercer University and an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has over 3,500 hours of teaching experience with residents and medical students. He also has administrative experience including current committee memberships medical and surgical quality.
