Dr. Weiss is a practicing Psychiatrist and Forensic Psychiatrist. Early in his career, he practiced Internal Medicine when he decided to pursue a deepening interest in Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Forensic Psychiatry. Internal Medicine continues to play a part in treating psychiatric conditions. He obtained Brain Injury Medicine Board-Certification after he served on cases involving brain injured plaintiffs and/or defendants or in which a TBI was a factor. He has a clinical psychiatric practice in Austin, Texas. Dr. Weiss is uniquely qualified to address psychiatric conditions, as well as overlap with other medical conditions, symptoms, and treatment.
