Dr. Weiss received her Doctor of Medicine degree from Boston University School of Medicine, then completed her four year psychiatry residency at the San Fernando Valley training program, as part of the UCLA (at that time) Neuropsychiatric Institute. She became Board Certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1990, and, after many years, a Life Fellow of that Board. In the medical-legal context, Dr. Weiss has provided expert witness consultation and litigation support in personal injury, employment law, and Workers’ Compensation cases during her 35 years in private practice. She has also worked as an IME, AME, Defense QME, Applicant QME, and Panel QME. Dr. Weiss’ specializations have been predominantly related to the psychiatric aspects of sexual, gender, or racial harassment; Posttraumatic Stress Disorder; anxiety; depression; and personality disorders. Dr. Weiss' main office is located in Beverly Hills, California. She has satellite offices in North Hollywood, Orange and Oxnard, and she offers video appointments, as well.
