Additional Information

Tamara John is a board certified orthopaedic hand surgeon who trained at some of the top institutions in her specialty. She had an extremely busy practice in Atlanta Georgia, managing a wide variety of upper extremity conditions and injuries including those of the hand, wrist, elbow and humerus. She is now in private practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She cares for patients involved in car accidents, worker's compensation, and those with commercial insurance. Some common conditions treated include carpal tunnel, trigger finger, upper extremity mass excisions, nerve repair with and without the microscope, finger and wrist arthritis, wrist tendinopathies, tendon repair, upper extremity sports injuries, tennis elbow, golfers elbow, triceps and biceps ruptures, cubital tunnel syndrome, Tommy John surgeries, finger fractures, wrist fractures, elbow fractures, humerus fractures, and many more conditions. She is also fellowship trained in microvascular and soft tissue hand rearrangement, so she cares for many skin, vessel, and nerve conditions of the upper extremity. She is not only highly trained and skilled, but she is commonly commended for her personality, likability, and relatability--her major strength is being able to explain concepts and topics such that the lay person can understand.
