Additional Information

Tina has been in and around transportation for approximately 44 years, starting with her family's two small businesses and has been a commercial driver for nearly 28 years, accumulating over 2.5 million accident-free miles. She was the manager of a small trucking company for 11 years and has been a driver trainer/safety director for over 18 years. Tina continues to drive part-time to stay current in the field. She is also currently the Driver Trainer/Safety Director for the company that she drives for, where she developed an in-house driver safety training program that not only met but exceeded their high standards and received recognition and commendation... and has been effective. Tina owns her own safety training company, where she assists trucking companies with safety/driver issues. Her driver safety training focuses not only on the FMCSA rules/regulations, but everyday standards and experiences in the field and how to keep drivers and those around them safe. Her safety training program recently utilized by a client who had an unsatisfactory safety record effectively reduced their safety incidents by 2/3 in 8 months, and after approximately 1 year, helped them obtain a perfectly clean safety record – which also included good/clean DOT inspections, continuous reductions in camera incidents, etc. Tina's CDL has nearly every endorsement. She also had credentials of Certified Director of Safety(CDS) and a Certified Driver Trainer(CDT) and has taken Accident Investigation Courses I, II, III. She continuously engages in classroom/online training and looks forward to enrolling in other certification courses. She is a member of organizations such as PMTA, NATMI, WIT, OOIDA and ATA and has participated in driving competitions (and placed). She was also peer-nominated for ATA’s America’s Road Team and was also a past participant in the student Trucker Buddy program. As an expert, Tina has effective written report, deposition and trial testifying experience.
