Board certified pediatric surgeon with 40+ years of experience/practice. Multiple awards including summa cum laude from Notre Dame, Alpha Omega Alpha Honorary Medical Society from Stanford University, March of Dimes award for clinical excellence, many newspaper and magazine awards as "Top Doc" in Southern New Jersey. Have been author or co-author of 34 medical articles. Have led clinical investigations on pediatric intravenous nutrition and the management of pediatric appendicitis. Completed SEAK course on How to Be an Effective Expert Medical Witness. Experienced in report writing, deposition testimony, and trial testimony. Have been retained by both plaintiffs and defense. I have a great deal of clinical experience but am a firm believer in evidence based medicine as defining the standard of care. I keep current on the medical literature and invoke that source, as well as my own experience in thousands of cases, as having been violated in malpractice cases.
