Additional Information

Over 25 years of professional experience, academic training, and a broad and in-depth knowledge of healthcare environments that allows me to review medical facts and provide a thorough, fair and impartial assessment of the subject of the legal action. I manifest strong interpersonal relations and draw on a wide range of communication skills to inform, engage and provide complete, objective, and helpful information to both defense and plaintiff attorneys. I draw on those same skills to provide testimony regarding the standard of care that is easily understood by all parties involved in the matter. I have greater than 10 years of experience serving as chairman and/or a member of a hospital or organization committee, such as hospital medical board, compliance committee, advisory committee, quality assurance/physician performance improvement committee and peer review committee. This experience, along with a master’s in business administration (MBA) with a focus in medical management, provides me the knowledge regarding policy, compliance and standard of care concerns. I currently serve as an Instructor of Medicine-Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and am actively involved providing supervision, teaching and mentoring for resident physicians and medical students in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
