Additional Information

I am a nationally-renowned educator with Skills On Point, LLC. I founded and own this company to instruct new-grad NP and PAs how to perform privileging and credentialing-level skills with a formalized initial education to expedite and better equip their entry to practice. As well, I am an instructor of pathophysiology and pharmacology for several nurse practitioner programs, program director of the National Institute of First Assisting, Inc, the premier education company with online and hands-on skills training with accredited continuing education to prepare nurses and nurse practitioners to first assist in the operating room. I myself am a first assistant in cardiothoracic surgery with endoscopic vein harvest skills, assist CABG, Valve, Lung, and general Thoracic cases including VAT, Mediastinoscopy, Biopsies, etc. My expertise as a nurse expert includes several depositions and testimonies surrounding CV surgery care similar to my inpatient practice environment and with the procedural skills in the inpatient care setting such as chest tube insertion, central line insertion, management of vasopressors and critical care medicine, and consultation through discharge longitudinal care. I look forward to any opportunity to discuss your interest and provide you with a comprehensive understanding of your case from the perspective of both an expert clinician, but also an expert educator view. I am a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner since 2014, a board certified critical care registered nurse since 2008, and will have board eligibility in Spring 2020 for the Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification after a post-Master's certificate program from UPenn, one of the nation's premier nurse practitioner program.
