Dr. Blank has exhibited the ability to work effectively as an expert witness with clear problem-solving language in cases involving difficult electrical/electronic situations. His communication skills have been honed by exposure to complex problems in industry and as an easy-to-understand professor. He was also elected IEEE-USA President by its 200,000 members. After graduating with his Ph.D., he worked as an employee in industry in the areas of controls and electronics, while teaching part-time at nearby universities. He then chose to leave industry and teach full-time and was a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Illinois Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), Northern Illinois University, Marquette University, and U.C.L.A. He started consulting part-time in industry while teaching. He has published dozens of technical papers including the Best Paper and Presentation at the Pan American Congress of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. He earned several grants for his universities from industrial corporations to support students, research, and product development. He is a full-time consultant/expert witness. He has provided consulting services for over 40 industrial corporate clients.
