With national and international experience, Mr. Ellis is a subject matter expert on anaerobic digestion and industrial wastewater systems. A strong communicator, he has provided engineering and consulting services on more than 300 projects located across Canada and the United States, as well as in South America, Europe, and Africa. Mr. Ellis is a detail-oriented professional who provides understandable guidance and effective reports. He has authored expert reports and provided expert testimony. His experience includes commercial arbitration, insurance claims review, and regulatory compliance and enforcement matters. He has directed detailed facility design and upgrading projects, led front-end process and detailed design teams, and provided troubleshooting services for both anaerobic digestion and aerobic wastewater effluent treatment systems. Mr. Ellis has provided engineering consulting services to clients from many industrial sectors including commercial waste anaerobic digestion facilities, agricultural and food waste co-digestion facilities, and major agri-food and food processing plants. Mr. Ellis is a Professional Engineer licensed in the Canadian provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, and the territory of Nunavut. For past projects, he has also been licensed in the provinces of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia. He is a member of the Water Environment Federation, the Water Environmental Association of Ontario, and the Canadian Biogas Association.
