Dr. Khandelwal is the Director of the Comprehensive Burn Care Center at MetroHealth Medical Center. In addition, he is an Assistant Professor of Surgery and Bioethics at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and the Co-Director of the Institute of Burn Ethics. Dr. Khandelwal has over 10 years of experience in burns, complex wound, trauma and critical care with the vast majority of these being in an administrative role. He is internationally recognized as a burn surgeon with multiple publications as well as national and international lectures/presentations at various conferences. As evidenced by multiple media appearances, he is a prolific public speaker and engages audiences well. Dr. Khandelwal is the Co-founder and one of the Medical Directors of Camp Karma - India's first and only recreational pediatric burn camp. He is actively involved in education, international outreach, prevention and research.
