I am a doctorally prepared Certified Nurse Midwife with over 20 years of experience in high volume, high risk midwifery and obstetrics practices in New York, California and Australia as a clinician and educator. I have a doctoral degree in global health focusing on perinatal HIV management and information technology. Currently I practice as a midwife hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente Oakland, California where I precept Obstetric and Gynecologic residents on the labor and delivery unit and am a co-lead of the Critical Events Team Training for Obstetric Emergencies training program.
