Business executive with over thirty years' experience in the human resources and management field, Subject matter expert in the areas of employee staffing, training, employment investigations, discrimination and harassment. Certified as a Senior HR Professional through the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP). Taught Human Resources courses and certification preparation courses for 12 years at Trident Technical College, Charleston SC. Experience conference Presenter and Author. Listed as a subject matter expert regarding harassment in the workplace in publications and media such as the Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, and National Public Radio "All Things Considered," Named South Carolina Human Resources Professional of the Year by the SC State Chamber of Commerce and SC SHRM State Council in 2016. Nominated by Governor Henry McMaster (SC) as a Commissioner on the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission (SCHAC) representing the 6th District. She is currently Vice-Chair and her term expires in 2025. In 2018, she was invited to meet with members of the U.S. House of Representatives Administrative Committee to discuss House policies and practices regarding harassment reporting and investigations. In 2015, she provided testimony before the EEOC hearing in Washington, DC regarding Retaliation in the Workplace.
