Kourtney Layton holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. She is a Certified Life Care Planner, Licensed Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor in the State of Utah, and a Diplomate with the American Board of Vocational Experts. She is also a Certified Vocational Evaluator (CVE). In addition to her private vocational rehabilitation and job placement practice, Ms. Layton performs vocational analysis, life care planning and earning capacity assessment services in family law, Social Security, worker’s compensation, employment and personal injury settings. She also provides testimony as a Vocational Expert in administrative hearings for the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review and for the Utah Department of Health Medicaid Division. Although Ms. Layton primarily practices in Utah, Nevada and Idaho (with offices in Eastern Idaho, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas), she provides services nationwide.
