Jonathan D. Pender, NP is an acute care nurse practitioner trained at the Johns Hopkins University and Hospital. Mr. Pender has been in practice at Richmond Ear, Nose and Throat (RENT) for 8 years and previously at Patient First Medical Centers for 5 years, providing primary and urgent care in the central Virginia regions. Additionally, he practices in emergency medicine (one year, full time from 2019-2020) and continues 4-6 shifts a month. Mr. Pender is available to review cases pertaining to the standards of care for nurse practitioners and physician assistants working in primary and urgent care, emergency medicine or in the specialty of otolaryngology, head and neck surgery. Specialty, ENT consultations include: the evaluation and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, vertigo, sinusitis, allergies, hoarseness, swallowing disorders, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ), neck masses, and head and neck cancer. Emergency, primary and urgent care practices: workplace injuries, community acquired infections, pneumonia. sepsis, hypertension, chest pain, neurological changes, diabetes, musculoskeletal disorders, lacerations, skin diseases and other common urgent and emergent illnesses. Mr. Pender is working under the mentorship of experienced expert witness, Michael Armstrong, MD who is available for immediate consultation.
