Dr. Schultz completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, where he also served as Chief Resident. He then joined the faculty in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan, achieving the rank of Associate Professor and remained there until 2008. He served as Chief of the University of Michigan Spine Program and the Program Director of the Interventional Spine Program and ACGME accredited Pain Fellowships. He also won several teaching awards. He is now in private practice at Medical Rehabilitation Group, PC in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Schultz is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, North American Spine Society and Spine Intervention Society. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters and has lectured extensively on a national basis.
