Dennis Madden is the CEO of the Automatic Transmission Rebuilders Association (ATRA). Dennis has worked in a shop environment as a transmission rebuilder for 10 years. During that time he has rebuilt over 5,000 transmissions. In 1987 Dennis began work as a field and research technician, author, and trainer. In that capacity, he has written over 100 technical articles, conducted technical seminars, fielded over 80,000 technical calls to other technicians, and authored several bulletins and books. Dennis has visited hundreds of transmission repair and other automotive shops across the US and Canada to observe and inspect their business and technical operations. Dennis is ASE Certified in Automatic and Standard transmissions.
