Angela Fusaro is an Emergency Medicine physician who has worked in a variety of clinical settings, from small rural community hospitals to large county facilities. Dr. Fusaro works in Albany, GA, a community devastated by COVID19. Recently she worked most recently as an Emergency Medicine physician at Emory University and Grady Healthcare System, where she become expert in managing a variety of acute pathology, pediatrics and trauma. In that role, she also served as an assistant professor in the School of Medicine and has extensive experience in academia and resident teaching. She is a recent graduate of Goizueta Business school and understands the business side of healthcare. Dr. Fusaro has also been involved in national leadership, serving as a member of the Board of Directors for EMRA, the 2nd largest Emergency Medicine organization in the world, and as a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Steering Committee. At that time, Dr. Fusaro wrote legislation addressing violence in the Emergency Department. Dr. Fusaro has participated in malpractice chart review and provided expert witness insight for a variety of cases, on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
