Dr. Rachyll Dempsey,Psy.D., Q.M.E, is a forensic neuropsychologist with offices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and practicing throughout California. Licensed as a Clinical Psychologist (PSY21261) in 2006, Dr. Dempsey has worked for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, San Quentin; the HOPE Program – Hayward; and for various colleges and universities. She has been a Qualified Medical Evaluator (#135075) since 2014 and an Independent Practitioner (DEM3135) through CASOMB (California Sex Offender Management Board) since 2012. Dr. Dempsey has dedicated her career to building her specialty in psychological and neuropsychological testing and assessment. She has taught at UCSF, Argosy University, St. Mary’s College, and Alliant International University, in addition to offering many continuing education seminars at various conferences. Dr. Dempsey has also assisted in creating, credentialing, and running three separate psychology training programs. Dr. Dempsey’s specialty interest is in psychological testing and assessment and in 2014 she founded Psychological Assessment, Inc., in order to expand her private practice. Her practice includes providing various types of assessment including assessment of functioning following head injury, dementia, learning disability evaluations, and forensic evaluations for a variety of questions including violence and sex offender risk, competency, fitness for duty, and others. Additionally, Dr. Dempsey is an expert witness and legal consultant.
