I am a board certified (ABEM) emergency physician with over 22 years of post-graduate clinical experience working full-time in a Level I Trauma Center. I work half of my clinical time in our high acuity Pediatric Emergency Department. Academically, I train PA's, medical students, residents and fellows from multiple disciplines. I have been active in our specialty as an urgent care director, Board examiner (ABEM), and high-level clinical researcher. Prior to medical school I worked as an epidemiologist which gives me the skill set to critically assess the literature and apply it to legal cases. I have over 10 years of experience as an expert witness and completed SEAK expert witness training courses. I am board certified (AOA) in addiction medicine and work clinically as the medical director at two addiction clinics. I have extensive experience with the treatment of opiate use disorder as well as all other addictions. I have served as an expert for both defense and plaintiff cases.
