Michael Safir, MD URPS is a board certified and dual-fellowship trained reconstructive urologist. He has practiced reconstructive urology for 25 years and has been performing transgender and non-binary surgery for 8 years. He completed surgical fellowship training in male and female reconstructive urology at UCSF and UCLA, respectively. He graduated from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University, where he obtained his Bachelors and Medical Degrees. I am a board-certified plastic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, with 10 years of post-training full-time clinical experience. I completed an integrated residency in Plastic Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in 2016, followed by fellowship training in microsurgery and complex reconstruction at MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2017.
