I am a psychiatrist currently working as the medical director (part time) of a methadone clinic in Washington DC. I am also a lecturer at Yale School of Medicine, Dept of Psychiatry where I was a resident and assistant professor. I am very knowledgeable about addiction to opioids, cocaine, methamphetamine, and nicotine. I have studied the Purdue litigation (the clinical aspects) in depth for a book I wrote and is due for publication in early 2027. I am now writing about addiction to social media and what that means. I have educated judges, been involved in malpractice cases where physicians have been charged with negligent prescribing of opioid analgesia. I have testified for the defense in tobacco litigation for Philip Morris (Altria), where the company prevailed. The majority of my cases went on to settle; once aftera deposition.
