Dr. Laura Sonoda is a board-certified Orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty training in hand and upper extremity surgery. In addition to her practice, Dr. Sonoda has been involved in depositions and IMEs. She also boasts several publications describing novel techniques, clinical review, and cadaver anatomical biomechanical studies. Dr. Sonoda completed her fellowship in Sacramento at UC Davis, her orthopedic surgery residency in Orange, CA at UC Irvine, and her medical school training at USC Keck School of Medicine. She also spent a year in New Orleans obtaining a Masters in Public Health degree with emphasis in epidemiology at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Sonoda was raised in the East SF Bay Area, and is happy to return to the area to raise her family. Dr. MacGill is board certified by The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery as well as reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery and serves as one of their case reviewers. He is also a Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) by The American Board of Wound Management. He is on the Board of Directors of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), a professional society of more than 8,000 foot and ankle surgeons. He is a member of the Board of Trustees at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital. Dr. MacGill grew up in Tampa and attended the University of Florida in Gainesville. He then attended The William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, Illinois. He graduated in the top 10th percentile of his class and matched with his first choice for residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando, Florida.
