I have been practicing as a Board-certified Internal Medicine physician since 2001 and as a Board-Certified Hospice and Palliative Medicine physician since 2008. I practiced hospital-based palliative medicine in an urban teaching hospital prior to transitioning to work as a community-based hospice physician. I have worked as a Hospice Medical Director since 2020 and have been involved in multiple quality improvement projects and audits. I oversee multiple physicians and nurse practitioners and make hospice visits in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. I continue to participate in Maintenance of Certification for my primary and secondary board certifications. I am also board certified as a Hospice Medical Director by the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board.
