Dr. Sonali Agarwal is a board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician with two decades of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences in 1996 and her Doctor of Medicine in 1999 from Saba University School of Medicine, Netherlands-Antilles, following undergraduate studies in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine in 2001 and her residency in Anesthesiology in 2004 at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine. Dr. Agarwal pursued advanced subspecialty training through the Quad-Institution Pain Medicine Fellowship at Weill-Cornell, New York Presbyterian Hospital (Hospital for Special Surgery, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Columbia Medical Center), which she completed in 2005.
