I am a nationally certified neonatal nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 16 years of hands-on experience in Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs). I have cared for critically ill preterm and term infants with a wide range of complex conditions, including respiratory failure, sepsis, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE), congenital anomalies, and surgical emergencies.
I currently practice at a large, academic medical center in Los Angeles, where I serve as a Neonatal Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). In this role, I provide clinical oversight, mentor staff, lead quality improvement initiatives, and develop unit-based protocols rooted in evidence-based practice. I am actively involved in interdisciplinary collaboration and regularly educate bedside nurses, providers, and respiratory therapists on neonatal resuscitation, pathophysiology, and high-risk neonatal care.
