Dr. Courtney is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and sports medicine. After completing his residency in orthopedic surgery in 2011 at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY, he further advanced his expertise by completing a fellowship at the Insall-Scott-Kelly Institute for Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction.
Dr. Courtney began his career in academic medicine, working as a faculty member at Montefiore Medical Center for four years before moving to Florida in 2016, where he has been in practice ever since. His clinical work includes performing over 500 complex hip and knee surgeries annually.
Alongside his busy clinical practice, Dr. Courtney actively publishes studies and lectures internationally, sharing his knowledge and expertise with colleagues around the world.
