Ahmed Elkeeb, MD, MBA Ophthalmology – Vitreoretinal Surgery Dr. Ahmed Elkeeb is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon. He is currently in private practice at South Atlantic Retina. His clinical practice includes the evaluation and management of a broad range of retinal and ocular conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, uveitis, retinal tears and detachments, age-related macular degeneration, and complications related to cataract surgery. In the outpatient setting, he performs procedures such as pan retinal photocoagulation, focal and grid laser, laser retinopexy, pneumatic retinopexy, intravitreal anti-VEGF and corticosteroid injections, and periocular corticosteroid injections.
