Gary White is the CEO of GW Retail Consulting, a retail expert service that advises industry interested clients. He is also formerly the Chief Executive Officer of United Retail Group, Inc. and the Executive Vice President and COO of national retailer, Wet Seal, Inc. Gary has extensive experience in the retail business including five years at the Gymboree Corporation, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Board, 2 years as the head of Savers Thrift Inc., and a 20-year career with Dayton Hudson, now Target Corporation, which owns Target and formerly Mervyn’s stores. He has also previously served on the boards of the March of Dimes and K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) and is an alumnus of the Henry Crown Fellowship program at the Aspen Institute.
