Dr. Mayz is the former Chair of Emergency Medicine at Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois, Chair of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Saint Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at Oklahoma State University. He is board certified in both emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine. He has worked in several emergency and pediatric emergency departments around the country, encompassing a variety of different practice settings. His experience includes both administrative and clinical practice. In addition to his work as a practicing clinician, Dr. Mayz has served on multiple ACEP committees most recently on bylaws and medical legal and is the President of the Oklahoma College of Emergency Physicians.
