Dr. Michelle Kars is the Division Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Northwell Health’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Pediatrics at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Dr. Kars has extensive experience in perioperative care for both pediatric and adult patients. She has led numerous clinical and operational initiatives, including launching a 24/7 pediatric acute pain service, developing the first ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at Northwell, and overseeing the design and opening of a new state-of-the-art pediatric operating room complex.
