Dr. Baker is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Clinical Informatics. Clinical practice includes more than 30 years of emergency medicine. He was in the first group of physicians to become board certified in clinical informatics. He is on faculty at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and teaches a graduate level course in Health Informatics. He Is the Medical Informatics Director at his primary hospital and a past Chief-of-Staff. He coordinates the emergency department informatics committee for a four-hospital system and assisted with the Epic implementation for all four hospitals. He is licensed in Hawaii and California. He trained at Harbor - UCLA Medical Center and worked in California prior to moving to Hawaii. He has recent informatics training through Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Raina Paul is a board certified pediatric and pediatric emergency medicine physician. She completed her residency and fellowship in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, the number one children's hospital in the country for over a decade. She is currently the Director of Quality Improvement for the Advocate Children’s Hospital Emergency Departments and was the former Associate Medical Director at the Center for Excellence at Lurie Children’s/Northwestern hospital. She has authored several peer reviewed articles on pediatric sepsis and was an author on the most recent Pediatric American College of Critical Care Medicine and Surviving Sepsis Guidelines.
