He graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Blacksburg with a Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 2014 and completed his family medicine residency in 2017 at Virginia Commonwealth University - Riverside Family Medicine Residency. He subsequently returned to Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia to complete a fellowship in primary care sports medicine in conjunction with Virginia Tech. He has worked in community based clinics since, practicing as both a primary care provider and as a non-operative sports medicine specialist.
