I am a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 20 years of continuous, full-time clinical experience in labor management, delivery, and high-risk obstetrics. I am unique among Obstetrican-Gynecologist experts because I spent the first nine years of my career practicing OBGYN as a board certified Family Physician, and also taught Obstetrics to medical students, residents, and even midwives for the majority of my career. My background includes a B.S. in Bioengineering from Texas A&M University and an M.D. from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. Dr. Meryl Kahan is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with more than a decade of experience in women’s health. She earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where she received an institutional award recognizing her exceptional attention to detail and clinical documentation.
