Dr. Sarah Lowenthal is a UCSF-trained and board-certified eating disorder expert with over 20 years of clinical experience. She provides specialized medical care for children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses (e.g. Anxiety, Depression, OCD, ADHD, and others). Dr. Lowenthal is one of the few physicians nationwide holding a designation as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and Consultant(CEDS-C) by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). As a former Board Member of the IAEDP SF Bay Area Chapter and a member of the Academy of Eating Disorders, Dr. Lowenthal provides supervision and education to other physicians in the field. She is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and licensed in multiple states.
