Dr. Barry earned her M.D. from New York Medical College in 1983. Upon graduation, she completed a 1 year rotational internship at St. Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan and then a 4 year residency in Radiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC. Her last year of Residency was spent performing Interventional Radiology. Dr. Barry's 40 years of clinical experience as a board-certified Radiologist is broad. It was narrowed to breast and gynecologic imaging/ intervention 35 years ago. She has worked in private practices, clinics, NYC public hospitals, and for the past 16 years, as an academic Radiologist at St. Francis Hospital/ Catholic Health in Roslyn, NY. Dr. Barry started and maintained her own private practice, Manhasset Mammography, for 12 years prior to joining St. Francis. Dr. Barry understands the myriad types and presentations of breast cancer.
