I have been an operating room nurse for 23 years, the last 14 of those in outpatient orthopedics/ sports medicine. I have a background in level 1 and level 2 trauma procedures including spine, orthopedics, general surgery and neuro. I spent 7 years as a travel nurse at various hospitals in the southeast before settling on a staff nurse position in Atlanta at Emory Musculoskeletal Institute. We are a busy 6 OR outpatient facility, working with top physicians in their respective fields. I train perioperative nurses who come through the program and have spent years utilizing my experience with fellows, residents and athletic trainers. I have had experience with expert witness reviews, and have demonstrated to my attorneys that I am reliable and knowledgeable in my field of practice to carry out the standards of care to which we adhere to.

Jessica Chiovaro, PT, DPT is a practicing physical therapist and expert in the field of physical therapy as a practitioner and clinic manager. Jessica has 14 years of clinical experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has extensive experience working with post-operative rehabilitation, geriatrics, spine injuries, chronic pain and acute injuries that are treated on a daily basis. Jessica also has participated in several depositions starting in 2009 and served as an expert witness in trial. Her experience for over 14 years gives her an advantage of explaining medical diagnosis and anatomy to the common person. With meticulous documentation standards in her own practice, these skills will also be delivered to her report writing and research that becomes an asset for both plaintiffs and defense.
