Dr. Varun Varadarajan is a neurotologist, otologist and skull base surgeon with dual board certifications in otolaryngology and neurotology. He specializes in the management of ear and hearing-related disorders. As a lifelong musician, Dr. Varadarajan obtained a degree in music before pursuing his medical career. He fostered his passion for auditory perception by pursuing subspecialty training in otology, neurotology and skull base surgery after completing his otolaryngology residency. Dr. Varadarajan received his bachelor’s degree with a double major in Music and Biology. Dr. Varadarajan attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his otolaryngology residency at the University of Florida. Hossein Mahboubi MD, MPH is a dual board-certified otolaryngologist with fellowship training in otology, neurotology and skull base surgery, a sub-specialty focusing on the diseases of the ear and hearing, balance, and facial nerves. Dr. Mahboubi completed his residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at University of California Irvine following a post-doctoral research fellowship at the same institution, which helped develop his passion for treating ear and skull base diseases. He then spent additional two years completing a clinical fellowship in otology and neurotology at House Ear Clinic and University of California Los Angeles where he advanced his skills in cochlear implants, stapedectomy, and complex ear and lateral skull base surgery.
