I practiced general dentistry for 23 years, and due to a spinal cord compression in my neck, I was forced to sell my practice in 2011. In 2012 I was appointed an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and served both in the Hygiene Department and the Care Planning and Restorative Sciences Department in the Dental School.
