Dr. Sharna Wood is a SEAK-trained consulting neuropsychologist who has independently practiced in Texas since 2009, although she has worked in assessment since 2001. Her training was primarily in the public hospital system in Fort Worth, but she experienced a wide variety of training settings, including neurocognitive rehabilitation, private practice, and rural outreach. Her professional career includes several faculty and director positions in the areas of psychology and neuropsychology. Dr. Wood has personally conducted thousands of psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for the Texas Workforce Commission vocational rehabilitation program, and the United States Social Security Administration for disability determination, and supervised many more similar evaluations during her years of training graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
