Dr. Scarlett Karakash, MD, is a board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist with more than a decade of clinical experience caring for high-risk pregnancies. She completed both her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and her fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Montefiore Einstein in Bronx, New York.
Following fellowship, Dr. Karakash joined Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, where she served as Director of Obstetrics of a busy high risk clinical service. During her tenure, she co-founded the Placenta Accreta Spectrum Program and established the fetal echocardiography program within the Perinatal Diagnostics Center.
She later joined the faculty at Stanford School of Medicine, where she currently practices full time as a Clinical Associate Professor.
