Dr Peter Dorsher offers 30+ years of clinical experience in the field of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation with subspecialty and expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and non-interventional pain management. While in private practice in Louisiana, he developed, and was the director of hospital stroke, traumatic brain injury, and multidisciplinary pain management programs. During his 27+ years of clinical practice at Mayo Clinic, Dr Dorsher has taught musculoskeletal medicine and non-operative pain management techniques, including a variety of injections, medical acupuncture and trigger point injections to medical students, medical residents and fellows. He served as Chairman of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (Jacksonville), and was integral in the development of the Mayo Multidisciplinary Pain Management Program.
