I did my neurosurgical training at the Medical College of Virginia now called Virginia Commonwealth University. I also completed a one-year fellowship in Neurotraumatology. I am a diplomate in good standing of the American Board of Neurological Surgeons. My first twenty-three years of practice experience was as founder and partner in a robust private neurosurgical practice in metro Atlanta. Since then, I have worked as an employed neurosurgeon at several hospitals around the country. Currently I hold a medical license in the states of North Dakota, Florida, Ohio, Colorado, Wyoming, Nevada, and Virginia. I also hold an IMLCC or Compact License currently recognized in thirty-seven states and soon to be more. Throughout my career I have treated thousands of traumatic brain and/or spine cases.
