He graduated with an M.D. degree from Washington University Medical School, St. Louis, Missouri, in 1990. Internship and neurosurgical residency were completed in 1997 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Horne is a fellow of the AANS, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the North American Spine Society. He is a past President and current Board Advisor of the Ohio State Neurosurgical Society.
