Dr. Ian English is Division Chief of Orthopedic Tumor Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine, where he specializes in the management of complex bone and soft tissue tumors in both pediatric and adult patients. His clinical practice is focused on high-acuity cases, including malignant tumors, limb salvage, and the surgical management of complications such as infection, bone loss, and deformity. In addition to tumor surgery, Dr. English has extensive experience in complex hip and knee reconstruction, particularly revision procedures in the setting of prior surgical failure, infection, or mechanical complications. He also provides care for patients requiring or recovering from upper and lower extremity amputation. He frequently evaluates cases involving delayed diagnosis, surgical complications, infection, and limb salvage decision-making.
