I am a seasoned medical professional with over 40 years of health care experience and 30 years of experience in correctional health care and civil rights. Currently, I serve as a Chief Medical Officer where I oversee health care delivery, policy development, and compliance with health service standards. In my role as a Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Contractor for the Department of Homeland Security, I conduct assessments of medical and behavioral health programs in detention centers, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
