Mike is a senior consultant with Group Nine Risk Consulting, a firm specializing in security risk management, forensic consulting, and security training. He joined Group Nine following a stellar military career that spanned over 25 years, followed by 8 years leading the campus safety and security operations of Creighton University. He has provided expert opinions to plaintiff and defense attorneys in cases across 8 states in state and federal courts. He also continues to provide clients with preventative security services, such as security vulnerability assessments (SVAs). Mike served as a Security Forces officer in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a colonel. During his career, he gained deep experience in physical security, law enforcement, and emergency management.
